Rumah adalah sesuatu yang tak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia, karena selain berfungsi sebagai tempat berlindung, rumah juga adalah tempat dimana para manusia membangun rasa sayang pada keluarga serta membangun komunikasi dengan manusia lainya. Di luar itu, rumah juga bisa menunjukkan status sosial seseorang di Masyarakat.

Tak heran jika banyak manusia menghabiskan uang banyak hanya untuk membangun rumah yang merupakan singgasana bagi mereka. bahkan tak jarang terjadi pertumpahan darah demi sesuatu yang bernama rumah ini. begitu berharganya sebuah rumah.

Inilah rumah paling mahal di dunia, rumah dimiliki oleh Mukesh Ambani, pengusaha dan miliuner terkemuka asal India yang juga merupakan orang yang masuk dalam daftar 10 orang terkaya di dunia. Rumah ini terdiri atas 27 lantai dengan ruangan yang sangat luas, bahkan garasinya saja bisa menampung sekitar 150 mobil.

Rumah mewah ini milik William Randolph Hearst, memiliki 3 kolam renang, 29 kamar tidur dan dengan aula yang sangat luas. Di dalamnya juga terdapat sebuah diskotik dan sebuah mini bioskop.

Subgenre Hip Hop

Hip Hop juga mengalami perkembangan dari tahun ke tahun, terutama pada jenis musik itu sendiri. Hip Hop pun mulai dikombinasikan dengan musik-musik lain seperti rock, reggae, techno, dan sebagainya.

Rapcore

Run DMC sempat berkolaborasi dengan band hard rock Aerosmith pada lagu “Walk This Way”. Kolaborasi ini benar-benar sukses dan duduk di nomor satu rapsong hit di tangga lagu Billboard Hot 100. Selain Run DMC, pada tahun 1987 Beastie Boys juga sukses dengan rap core-nya dengan hits “Licensed to Ill” yang di produseri oleh Def Jam Records. Pada lagu ini Beastie Boys bekerja sama dengan Black Sabbath dan Led Zeppelin, dan dibantu oleh Kerry King, gitaris dari Slayer. De La Soul’s juga merilis lagu rap core “3 Feet High and Rising” pada tahun yang sama. Pada sekitar tahun 2000, Linkin Park merilis album dengan genre Rapcore / Rap Rock dengan nama Hybrid Theory dengan lagu In The End sebagai best song-nya.

Electro

Musik yang satu ini memang sedang naik-naiknya di saat ini, dan tidak ada yang tahu bahwa ternyata Electro juga merupakan bagian dari musik Hip Hop. Run DMC menjadi dedengkot pada aliran yang satu ini. “Planet Rock” dari Afrika Bambaataa menjadi target Run DMC untuk disisipi irama Eelctro ini dan ternyata sangat sukses di pasaran. Hits berikutnya ialah “It’s Like That” yang tentunya sudah tidak asing lagi di telinga kita.

Miami Bass

Miami Bass ialah bagian dari Hip Hop yang dipopulerkan oleh 2 Live Crew, JJ Fad, DJ Magic Mike, dan DJ Laz. Musik ini sangat berkarakter irama bass yang kuat, dan lirik yang sedikit menyinggung tentang seks menjadi bagian dari kelompok yang satu ini.

Hardcore Hip Hop

Pada tahun 1990’an, musik dari New York dan East Coast menjadi musik yang sangat keras dan gelap, sesuai dengan kehidupan yang terjadi disana. Artis dari tahun 80’an akhir seperti EPMD dan Eric B serta Rakim menjadi salah satu pendiri dari musik dengan irama yang keras ini. Selain dua nama tersebut, Public Enemy beserta pasukannya The Bomb Squad juga tidak mau kalah untuk menyuarakan kreativitas mereka dengan nuansa kriminal di setiap lirik-lirik lagu mereka. Wu-Tang Clan merilis album mereka pada tahun 1993 “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)”, dan albumnya merupakan sebuah gebrakan pada tahun tersebut, khususnya di genre musik Hardcore Hip Hop.

Trip Hop

Trip Hop adalah genre musik yang terdiri dari musik downtempo elektronik yang berasal di awal 1990-an di Inggris, terutama Bristol. Istilah ini pertama digunakan oleh media musik Inggris dan pers sebagai cara untuk menggambarkan varian lebih eksperimental dari breakbeat yang berisi pengaruh jiwa, funk dan jazz . Menurut Kamus Merriam-Webster, istilah pertama kali digunakan pada tahun 1989. Encyclopædia Britannica online juga mengklaim bahwa istilah ini diciptakan oleh Mixmag, sebuah majalah Inggris yang mengkhususkan diri dalam musik dansa ini telah digambarkan sebagai "pilihan alternatif Eropa dalam. paruh kedua tahun 90-an ", dan" perpaduan hip hop dan electronica sampai genre yang tidak dikenali". Seiring perkembangan musik Trip Hop semakin penuh warna dengan kehadiran berbagai musisi jazz yang memasukan aroma hip hop kedalam musiknya. Atau musisi hip hop yang memasukkan unsur jazz kedalam musiknya. Contoh dari musisi Trip Hop Indonesia salah satuinya adalah Aji Kikuta atau lebih di kenal dengan nama DJ KIKUTA
